MoveUP represents and advocates for over 12,000 members in the public and private sectors in British Columbia. Agentic was tasked with building and eventually re-branding a site that is user-friendly and compatible across a diverse range of devices.
Our long-term client, union COPE 378, rebranded as the Movement of United Professionals in the fall of 2015. MoveUP represents and advocates for over 12,000 members in the public and private sectors in British Columbia, meaning that Agentic was tasked with building a site that is user-friendly and compatible across a diverse range of devices.
The MoveUP site features a variety of different functionalities that help the union to best serve its many members across the province. “MoveUP is a diverse, progressive, member-driven organization that protects members’ rights and empowers them to unite for better workplaces, communities and society as a whole.” For these reasons, the MoveUp site feautres a polling function where users can anonymously cast their opinions to questions posed on the site’s homepage. The MoveUp website’s goal is to provide easy-to-access information, events, and updates to its members, and the use of white space, quicklinks, and a Member Portal facilitate that goal.
This site also serves as a perfect example of Agentic’s ability to give a “facelift” to an existing website. The site was previously branded under the name COPE 378, but we were able to easily update the existing site to reflect the new branding guidelines.
