Climb for Change relaunched with a powerful ecommerce system that allows people to fundraise for their mountain climbs around the world. We relaunched the site with this new functionality and a refocus on the core areas.
After their own climb for charity, Chantal and Mike Shauch realized that the effort and difficulty they encountered in organizing and fundraising could be turned into a site to help others with the same desire to generate interest and attention on social issues through mountain climbs around the world. We built the first site for them, and in 2012, they returned to us for a revamp and an important ecommerce addition to allow people to raise funds through the site. Building on the brand we had created with them, the site relaunched with a lot of new functionality.
It’s exciting to see Climb for Change’s online fundraising platform include a Canadian campaign supporting the education of Himalayan Children in Nepal, Mount Kilimanjaro charity climbs by three American climbing teams supporting the American Foundation For Children with AIDS, and an Aconcagua charity climb raising funds for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center.
