Most of my work sits where people, process and technology meet. Organizations usually call me when something feels stuck: a plan that won't come together, a team that isn't working, or a digital setup that grew without a plan.
01
Getting a group to a plan it actually believes in.
I design and lead sessions where every voice gets heard, from board retreats to community engagement. The work starts with deep listening: talking with people before the room, so we understand what's really going on. I bring a transformational consulting approach and an anti-racism lens that keeps power dynamics in view.
Often looks like: Strategic plans · Board and staff retreats · Community engagement · Design charettes
02
A way forward when working relationships get stuck.
Conflict is often a sign that something in the system needs attention. I help people talk honestly, hear each other, and agree on what happens next. I've trained in mediation with Mediate BC and in conflict facilitation, and I'm a certified workplace investigator with trauma-informed training.
Often looks like: Mediation · Facilitated difficult conversations · Team repair after conflict · Workplace investigations
03
Seeing your website, data and tools as one ecosystem.
Most digital footprints grow one piece at a time: a website from one era, a database chosen for price, social accounts started by different staff. I map the whole ecosystem, find where it's out of tune with how you actually work, and help you decide what to tend, what to prune and what to plant. Free tools are free as in puppies, not free as in beer, so the plan includes the care and feeding.
Often looks like: Digital strategy reports · Technology planning · Platform and vendor decisions · Change management
04
Finding out what people actually need.
Before redesigning anything, talk to the people who use it. I run interviews, usability testing and journey mapping, and turn what we learn into clear recommendations. Much of this work has been with public legal education and justice organizations, where getting it right matters to people at hard moments in their lives.
Often looks like: User interviews · Usability testing · Journey maps · Redesign research
05
Practical help with AI, without losing your voice or your values.
AI can amplify good work, or quietly replace the human parts that matter. I help teams try real tools on real tasks, set sensible guidelines, and decide where AI belongs and where it doesn't. I teach AI in Interaction Design at Capilano University and hold certifications in responsible AI and AI stewardship.
Often looks like: Hands-on workshops · AI guidelines and policy · Tool selection · Voice and knowledge systems
Step 1
Conversations with the people involved, before anything is decided.
Step 2
Make the system visible: who's involved, what's connected, and where things are stuck.
Step 3
Design the session, plan or fix together, and build your team's capacity so the work keeps going after I leave.
Since 2000, almost all of my work has been with social-change organizations.

I also speak and run workshops on managing complex stakeholder relationships (from my field guide Taming Tigers), digital transformation, UX, and AI in creative and educational work.
That's normal. Most work ends up being a mix. Tell me what's going on and we'll figure out the right shape together. Or email agentic-info@agentic.ca.
