Working with Social Change Orgs

One of the things that we recognize at Agentic is the increased specialization that we have in working with social change organizations. These are typically not-for-profit, but can be government departments or societies. We’ve done literally hundreds of projects with organizations like this. From a communications perspective, these kinds of organizations have requirements that are different than most other businesses. For example, many organizations are run by executive directors and have a board that is often quite involved in making strategic, and sometimes tactical, recommendations. Organizations often also work with multiple partners — from sister organizations in the same area, to important donors and funders, and perhaps most importantly, their members. All of these combined make for a complex environment to develop an online presence.Because of our rich experience with organizations, we understand this complex landscape well and can effectively work within it. It makes a difference for our clients when we can respond, and better yet, anticipate the various demands of stakeholders. This may seem similar to other types of business, and in some ways, it is. But there are key ways in which our insight into operational procedures, sensitivity to language and the general alignment of our values that make the conversations we have effective, efficient and helpful.ÊOur social change background gives us a strong foundation within which we can be smart, value-driven and make a difference in working with organizations, maybe like yours. If so, let us know if there is something we can help you with.
