Social media and the web have swept PR into a rapidly-changing environment. Issues emerge and recede within hours. From this landscape, the Canadian Public Relations Society (Vancouver chapter of CPRS) decided to create a website to address these new industry issues.
The experience CPRS has developed in serving communications practitioners in British Columbia over the last 50 years is reflected online in its thought-leading articles on topics like Election PR: Do laughs win votes? and Pitching Persistence: When to Resort to Plan B. The site also hosts job postings, events and a full suite of tools to allow members to manage their own information. The site is not only a space for CPRS members, but students, professionals and anyone interested in PR to share, ask, discuss and learn.
Agentic's role was the design and implementation of the site (SSU completed the back end for the member site) and we're pleased to see it live!
