Working with the talented Aboriginal filmmaker Lisa Jackson, Agentic produced this video for the Indigenous Adult and Higher Learning Association. It was produced in six weeks, and they were very pleased with the result. See it for yourself.

Final BC-EBC Report goes live

Yesterday, the final report for the BC Electoral Boundaries Commission website went live. It is the result of over two years of work for the Commission and the quality of their work shows. We assisted by building their website, and developing some capacity loading strategies and a killer Google Maps implementation. You can check it out at BC-EBC.ca

Ecotrust Canada is a new website redo project that we have been very pleased to work on. We're working with our design partners over at BIRO Creative and it's been a lot of fun. Partly that's because our client contact at Ecotrust Canada has been fabulous, and I'm sincere in that. He's taken on a lot and always delivered and to a high quality. Just got the go-ahead for an exciting new project that will see us working with the Genocide Intervention Network out of Washington, DC. We'll be working with STAND, the student anti-genocide coalition. It's a great step for us into finding new ways to build on changing the world for the better.

I had the opportunity to be a part of a Broadband Symposium in Haida Gwaii this past Monday. It was organized by Art Lew of the Community Futures there. It was a great opportunity to hear from a large group of experts about the opportunities and challenges for communities that have high speed Internet. Haida Gwaii is just in the process of being hooked up, courtesy of TELUS, the BC Gov't and GwaiiTel, a local not-for-profit group that is working to connect the last mile.
